The end is nigh, for a very bad year
So much pain, and a billion sad tears
Keep head held high
For we must try
To move on bravely, without the fear

B ikes are brilliant, for getting around
I nspiring transport, but do not clown

The shell I discovered, was lying alone
No seaweed nearby, or friendly stone
With no place to hide
Or waves to ride

We climbed the hill, under a bright sunrise
The high point, of our quiet emprise
On the sea down below
Light danced to and fro
A beautiful memory, such a sweet surprise

There was much to see, but little to say
Because silence is golden
