Art for Art’s sake

Paint it black, or whatever you want

Bold image inspires, fun mental jaunt

A joy to the eye

For all passers-by

Much colour and skill, the artist did flaunt

A joy to the eye

Painting by Paul Francis (at Haigh Terrace), as part of the Dun Laoghaire Street Art Project

Cloudy Bay

I went for a walk, on the pier today

A gentle breeze, held me in its sway

Each step took me near

Until it became clear

The beautiful sight, of my Cloudy Bay

Along the West Pier, Dun Laoghaire to Cloudy Bay

Snap to it

I spy, with my little eye

Something nice, up in the sky

As clouds wander and roam

In their heavenly home

Snap it now, oh what joy!

Wandering clouds…

Across Dublin Bay from Seapoint to Howth Head

Wordy Stuff

My friend Paige Turner, works in a big shop

She sells only books! nothing else, Full stop

Not a Comma or Colon

Was ever stolen

That’s great, I say, with a smooth Apostrop-he

Make a Mark

To the Lighthouse

It’s more than just, the ray of light

Guiding sailors, in the dark of night

What I love most dear

Is a walk on the pier

To the lighthouse, that shines so bright

East Pier Lighthouse, Dun Laoghaire, Dublin
